Tabs Look Even Better v2.01.24

After some feedback from our users, we decided to make the tabs, on the listing pages and the Add Listing Form, look more like folder tabs. It is a good digital illustration of what you would have to do if you wanted to pull a file folder of an alpaca or llama that is in your filing cabinet. You get the file then flip through the folder or folders to find the specific information that you are looking for. That’s basically what you are doing. It’s just easier to click 🙂

Here’s a summary of some updates that were made to the site:

  1. Listing Page Tabs

Breadcrum navigational links background color and table header styles removed.

  2. Listing Page tabs modified to look like folder tabs.
  3. Detailed information such as registration, gender, DOB, etc. moved to the right of the main profile image to reduce scrolling.
  4. Add Listing Page tabs modified to look like folder tabs.
  5. Removed “Photo Album” link underneath profile photo since “Photos” tab serves the same purpose.
  6. Modified Facebook Friends feature to only show up for Registered users.
  7. Add Listing Form Tabs

Changed “Breeding Price:” to “Breeding:” when displaying the price for breeding on a listing’s page.

  8. Removed currency and dollar sign from listings that show “Make Offer”.
  9. The price position on a listing’s page is now conditional to the width and height of the main profile image to create a more visually balanced page layout.

We are continually developing this site to provide you a fantastic tool to manage and market your alpacas and llamas online. Please contact us or comment on our site via Facebook. We look forward to hearing from you.

Listing Profile Tabs Added! v2.01.03

These content tabs allow viewers to browse through content very quickly while reducing the need to scroll down the page.

Lama Market keeps getting even better. I have received several positive comments about the “tabs” feature (v1.11.16) when adding or editing listings in user accounts, so I incorporated the feature listing profiles. Instead of scrolling forever down the page, just click on the tabs for the desired content. This minimizes scrolling and maximizes viewing.

This feature has been created to make Lama Market easier to use. If you have a great idea or complaint that could result in a great improvement, please contact us. We are here for you.

Also, the Professional Plan pricing has been reduced to $15 per month and you now have the ability to subscribe to this plan with automatic monthly billing. Yep, that’s right. You do not have to worry about your listing expiring.

Unfortunately, we no longer offer the Basic Plan and the Standard Plan.

Added Reduced Price v1.12.12

The following updates have been made to Lama Market:

  • Added “Reduced Price” feature

All accounts now have the ability to mark their listings with a “Reduced Price”. This is a great way of marking your listing ON SALE just like a retail store would mark products on sale at a reduced price. The original price will still be show with a strikethrough , with the new reduced price below.

On the listing page, here is how the price will be displayed:

Update: Introducing Tabs v1.11.16

I am pleased to announce that Lama Market now uses tabs to organize content on the form for the new/edit listings page. This feature reduces the need to scroll down a long-winded page of content. The various sections of content is strategically organized to aid in completing all needed information for listings in a quick and efficient manner.

Errors, Updates, & What’s To Come

This Is What Happened
Several days ago, Lama Market was relocated from the “home” directory to the main directory for better search engine optimization. This move caused several reference issues that disabled several functions on Lama Market. Lama Market was restored to the previous location for now until all bugs have been worked out for the main directory location.

Under Construction
Lama Market is undergoing major site structural renovations. By January 2011, Lama Market will be fully search engine optimized, and restructured to increase incoming traffic from organic sources such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

Why Should You Care?
It simply about traffic. The more traffic that Lama Market gets from sources like Google, the more traffic and exposure that your listings get on Lama Market. Lama Market is here to get you the most exposure as possible for your farm.

Another Update
All users on Lama Market now have the ability to specify which animals that they raise on their farm/ranch on the Public Profile form. Why is this important? When you make a selection of the animals you raise, those keywords are included into your profile page on Lama Market. This helps Google see that you are in fact raising llamas or alpacas etc. This is just another neat Search Engine Optimization feature. Enjoy!
